Tainan Race 8 Mar 2009

A recent race was held in Tainan, Taiwan. It was a friendly race with the help of Formosan Serow Biking Club. From what I gather there were about 300 bikers took part in the race.

Weeks before the race the FSB club was there to survey the ground and make some repairs to the track. The repair of the wooden bridge was pretty interesting and it manage to hold up during the race.

There were a few casualty in the race. The most interesting was one rider had his rim all bent up during a small U drop off obstacle. All I can say, it is time for a new rim and make sure the spokes are tighten with proper wheel truing. Watch the vid below to see how it happened. The day before the race it rained and makes the track more exciting, slippery ground, wet mud. Hm.... sounds like home. Enjoy the vids and links.
